The VSB40.1G4E-512NN-C1D-AE-LS-FW is an industrial PC from Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the VSB Industrial PC Units series. This box computer serves as the central processing platform for motion controllers, fieldbus gateways, and operator stations on automated machinery. It is intended for installation inside a control cabinet, where it connects directly to remote operator panels and provides a compact solid-state alternative to traditional rack controllers. That layout supports continuous operation in production systems that need centralized computing in a small enclosure.

The unit draws 24 V DC and remains functional through the voltage variation commonly found in plant power supplies. Panel graphics are transmitted over the GIGASTAR link, and display cables can run as far as 30 m without repeaters. A clearance of 50 mm around the enclosure is required for convection, while the internal electronics carry an IP20 rating that limits use to clean indoor cabinets.
