The VSB40.1G4E-1G0NN-C1C-CN-NN-FW is a sophisticated industrial PC designed to operate with the display unitsbBD 16, VDP 40, and VDP 60. This combination allows the construction of an independent PC-based operator terminal that is capable of control functions based on the application and configuration. It is possible to connect the device with the display units using a 30 meters cable. This allows the installation of this operator terminal in a machine's control cabinet while the display unit can be installed in the machine’s door. The device uses an integrated graphics controller that has an 8 MB video memory. Smooth data processing is ensured with the Celeron processor that has a 2 GHz minimum clock speed. Optionally, the device can be equipped with a CD ROM or CD/DVD RW.
The VSB40.1G4E-1G0NN-C1C-CN-NN-FW is compatible with various external platforms owing to its wide range of interfacing options. The system comes with the GIGASTAR interface, a single VGA interface, two USB interfaces, a single Ethernet connection, a keyboard and a mouse connection, and an RS232 serial interface connection. The system can operate at nominal input voltages of 115 VAC and 230 VAC. There is sufficient protection against vibration and shock owing to the superior mechanical strength of the device enclosure. An excursion of 0.025 mm is allowed when the frequency is between 10 to 57 Hz. The maximum allowed acceleration is 0.25 g within a frequency range of 57 to 150 Hz. The operator panel is continuously cooled through a blower fan that has a service life of approx. 70,000 hours when used in 40 ᵒC ambient conditions. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
