The VSB40.1G4E-1G0NN-C1C-CE-LS-FW is an industrial PC unit produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VSB Industrial PC Units series. In an automation cell, it functions as the computational hub that executes motion algorithms, manages input and output, and links a machine operator to PLC sequences through the integrated control panel. By combining processing hardware, fieldbus connectivity, and a dedicated expansion backplane, it replaces discrete single-board controllers while remaining serviceable inside an enclosure. Its cabinet-mounted format keeps control hardware consolidated in one housing.

The PC box accepts a supply of AC 115 to 230 V at 50 to 60 Hz and has an IP20 enclosure rating, so it must be installed inside a cabinet free of conductive dust. For mechanical reliability, the chassis withstands shocks up to 5 g, and operation is permitted at ambient temperatures up to 45 °C.
