The VPP40.1BIA-512NN-M1D-BN-NN-FW is a new generation PC-Based visual operator terminal designed by Rexroth Indramat to serve as a communication interface between the operator and the industrial servos system. This device is designed with highly sophisticated technology, it contains a keypad that is made up of 16 machine function keys each of which can be used to give specific commands to the industrial servo system. The VPP40.1BIA-512NN-M1D-BN-NN-FW visual operator terminal also contains a 15 inches Thin Film Transistor display which is capable of displaying up to 256,000 colors in 1024 x 768 pixels. Since this visual operator terminal is PC-based, operators should ensure it is connected to a PC box into which configuration cards and modules can be inserted. A battery is also connected to the PC box of this controller, this battery serves as an alternative source of electrical energy. When the voltage breakdown in the PC box persists for  20 milliseconds, the UPS program of the operator immediately switches over to battery operation.
