Product Description:
The VPP40.1BIA-512NN-M1D-BN-NN-FW operator terminal is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and belongs to the VPP IndraLogic Terminals series. It combines an industrial computer with an integrated display and keypad, forming a compact human-machine interface for production lines, packaging equipment, and assembly systems. When mounted in the control cabinet door, it enables machine status visualization, alarm acknowledgment, and control input without opening the enclosure.
The panel features a 15 in. diagonal viewing area built around a TFT module. A native resolution of 1024 × 768 pixels and a palette of 256,000 colors provide clear presentation for trend graphs and detailed machine screens. The front bezel has an IP65 rating, so the screen and membrane keys resist dust, oil, and water jets during routine washdowns. All interaction is handled through a keypad arrangement, with dedicated machine function keys for frequent commands and separate cursor and numeric keys for parameter entry. Internally, the electronics draw up to 200 W, which helps determine power-supply sizing and thermal planning. Behind the sealed front, the PC section remains open at IP00 and can accept two PCI boards plus one combined PCI/ISA card for communication or expansion functions.
Data connections cover both networked and legacy serial devices. Ethernet traffic passes through a single RJ45 10/100 Base-T interface for standard network communication, while three RS-232 ports are available for drives, printers, or handheld scanners. Two USB Type-A sockets support removable media and recipe transfers, and a 15-pin HD-Sub VGA connector can mirror the internal display on an external screen. Application software and graphical pages run from 512 MB of working memory, allowing the terminal to handle local logic, data logging, and diagnostic tasks without an external PC.
