The VPP40.3DEM-2G0NN-D2D-EN-NN-FW is a human-machine interface supplied by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the VPP IndraLogic Terminals series. It is intended for panel mounting on control cabinets and provides touch-based operator access to programmable logic sequences, motion commands, and diagnostic screens in automated lines. By combining an integrated power supply, network ports, and local USB connectivity, the terminal simplifies field wiring and centralizes visualization tasks for drive controllers and PLCs.

The unit presents data on a 38.1 cm (15") diagonal TFT screen that renders at 1024 × 768 pixels, a format large enough for multi-window layouts. Protective glass and a sealed bezel carry a front rating of IP65, so the display surface tolerates directed water jets and airborne dust. A rear rating of IP20 applies inside the enclosure. All electronics are energized from a 24 V DC bus, and under full brightness and processor load the consumption peaks at 160 W. The system image and runtime data are stored in 2 GB of internal memory, leaving additional space for recipes and log files. The aluminum housing survives shocks of 15 g and vibrations up to 1 g at 10–150 Hz without image flicker or spontaneous reboot. A projected-capacitive touch layer enables operation with gloved hands, and the device monitors its own 24 V supply so that orderly shutdown routines can be triggered if voltage drops. The front USB connector is gasketed to preserve the IP65 seal during temporary service access.
