The VPP40.3DEK-4G0NN-D5D-HN-NN-FW panel is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VPP IndraLogic Terminals series. It is a touch-screen industrial terminal that combines a PC-based controller with an integrated display, permitting direct machine operation, status visualization, and program execution inside an automation cell. The diagonal display measures 38.1 cm (15"), providing enough screen area for multi-window operating pages while remaining compact enough for cabinet door, pendant, or swing-arm installation.
The terminal is energized from a 24 V DC control circuit, allowing it to share the same low-voltage rail used by sensors and I/O modules in a cabinet. A Core i7-620M processor running at 2.66 GHz provides the computational throughput required for real-time logic, motion sequencing, and graphical interface tasks. The processor is backed by 4 GB of DDR3 RAM so larger HMI projects and PLC applications can reside in memory without paging delays. Programs and operating data are written to a solid-state drive that offers short access times and good resistance to vibration on plant floors. Visual output is rendered on a TFT panel at 1024 × 768 pixels, giving adequate detail for dialog boxes, trend curves, and alarm lists while maintaining responsive screen updates.
Two Gigabit interfaces enable network segmentation, so one connection can link to the machine PLC while the other connects to higher-level MES or SCADA systems. The presence of 2 ports removes the need for an external switch inside the enclosure in many layouts. Front-panel sealing meets IP65, so dust and directed water jets do not penetrate when the unit is embedded in a cabinet door. A solid-state drive capacity of 100 GB provides non-rotating storage for the operating system, application files, and retained data.
