The VPP40.3DEK-1G0NN-D1D-EN-NN-FW model is extensively used in various motion control technologies for performing quick control tasks. The VPP40.3 operator terminal provides high-performance efficiency due to its 2.4 GHz Core i-5 520M processor and 1024 MB RAM. The front panel of the operator terminal is equipped with 15 inches TFT touch-screen display and 1 USB port. The resolution of the front panel of the unit is 1024 × 768 and it can easily operate under unfavorable environmental conditions due to its IP65 protection standard. The VPP40.3 operator terminal should be mounted into the control cabinet of at least IP54 ingress protection due to the IP20 protection rating of the rear side. Only 1 PCI slot is placed in this unit for customization and 2 × 320 GB hard disks are placed in the RAID 1 for storing the drive software and the applications of the model. The PC-based operator terminal should only be operated in conjunction with the parts and modules specified by the supplier.
The model VPP40.3DEK-1G0NN-D1D-EN-NN-FW comes with a UPS module that takes power from the main voltage line and delivers 24 VDC power to operate the operator terminal. During operation, the model consumes 160 W of power. The minimum clearance of 50 mm should be maintained at all of the sides of the VPP40.3 unit to provide sufficient room for airflow.
