The VPP40.3BIM-1G0NN-D1D-DN-NN-FW is a human-machine interface panel developed by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VPP IndraLogic Terminals series. This unit fuses an operator display with onboard computing hardware so it can execute visualization tasks and permit direct machine interaction on the factory floor. By integrating control logic, graphic output, and physical keys in one housing, the terminal lets automation lines collect status data, present process graphics, and accept operator commands without a separate PC.

Inside the aluminum housing, a Core Duo L2400 processor runs at 1.66 GHz; paired with 1 GB of DRAM, it handles multitasking for IEC-61131-3 logic, data logging, and screen refresh. The 38.1 cm (15") TFT display outputs vector graphics and process images at an XGA resolution of 1024 × 768 pixels with a color depth of 16 million colors, giving operators clear status feedback. Four front-mounted membrane keys are supplemented by 16 dedicated function keys and 16 machine keys for direct command entry. The unit carries an 80 GB HDD for recipe storage and trend archives, while 4 x PCI expansion slots allow fieldbus cards or additional I/O boards.
