The unit combines a graphical screen with hard keys so machine builders can execute commands and observe process data from one panel. It links directly to controllers and factory networks, acting as the human-machine boundary for parameter entry, status viewing, and alarm acknowledgment in automated lines.
The front panel carries a TFT screen measuring 38.1 cm (15"). The display renders images at 1024 x 768 pixels and supports a palette of 16 million colors. Two independent network interfaces, listed as 2 x Ethernet TCP/IP, permit simultaneous connection to a control network and a supervisory layer. For removable media or peripheral linkage, the HMI offers 1 front USB port and 6 USB 2.0 ports, while an additional VGA connector enables mirroring to an external monitor during setup.
