It serves as the primary human-machine link in automated cells, allowing operators to issue commands, acknowledge alarms, and review process data directly at the machine. The terminal uses a built-in touch surface, so external keyboards or pointing devices are not required, and the sealed front bezel allows the unit to remain mounted in washdown or dust-laden areas without added protective doors.

The visualization hardware centers on a 15 in TFT panel that renders graphics at 1024 × 768 resolution, giving adequate detail for trending plots and control schematics. All user input is handled through the projected-capacitive touch layer. Front ingress protection is rated at IP65, so jets of water or airborne particulates do not reach the electronics during production.
