The VPP40.1DEC-1G0NN-M3C-BE-NN-FW is an IndraLogic visualization terminal produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the VPP IndraLogic Terminals series. The device integrates an industrial PC, a color flat-panel display, and a resistive touch screen to serve as the human-machine interface for motion controllers, drives, and auxiliary equipment. By mounting the unit on the front of an electrical cabinet, operators can issue commands, monitor process variables, and acknowledge alarms without opening the enclosure, bringing compact visualization to discrete manufacturing cells, packaging machines, and material-handling stations.
The viewing area is provided by a 15" TFT panel that renders at 1024 × 768 pixels and can show up to 256,000 colors, giving clear graphics for parameter pages and trend screens. User interaction occurs solely through the touch surface, eliminating the need for a separate keypad. Data exchange with plant networks is available through a single Ethernet interface rated 1 × RJ45 10/100 Base-T, while legacy controllers can still be connected through 2 × RS-232 serial channels. Two USB Type A ports support recipe transfer and service tools, and no moving keys are present on the front, minimizing wear in high-cycle applications.
A cast aluminum front panel that is 5 mm thick protects the electronics, and its exposed surface meets IP65 so liquids and fine dust cannot reach the touch screen when the unit is cabinet-mounted. The electronics compartment, classified as IP00, remains inside the cabinet and tolerates 1 g of vibration and 15 g of shock during operation. The unit has 4 internal expansion slots that accept fieldbus adapters or storage modules, while system performance is supported by 512 MB of working memory. For power planning, total consumption does not exceed 200 W, and the two USB ports remain powered for peripheral devices.
