Product Description:
The VPP21.1-BQD-512D-P7D-NNNN is an IndraLogic Terminal engineered by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VPP IndraLogic Terminals series. The unit combines machine-operator interaction with onboard control processing, allowing it to run visualization screens and execute logic sequences directly at the cabinet door or console. Its role in industrial automation is to present real-time process data on the integrated display while simultaneously handling command inputs that are forwarded to drives, sensors, and actuators.
It is driven by a Pentium III E processor that operates at a clock frequency of 700 MHz. The computing core is backed by 512 MB SO-DIMM DRAM for program code and data, and the display subsystem has 4 MB of dedicated video memory. A 14 in TFT panel renders graphics at a native resolution of 1024 x 768 px, providing sufficient pixel density for detailed HMI layouts. Interaction is handled through a keypad front panel, and its membrane surface carries 57 keys and is sealed to IP64 to resist dust and sprayed fluids at the machine face. The processor, memory, and screen together allow multitasking between user dialogs and deterministic control functions without external PCs.
Beyond these local resources, the terminal offers 2 x RJ45 (10/100 Base-T) Ethernet ports for programming, diagnostics, or connection to factory networks. When a panel monitor is required at a distance, an HD-Sub 15-pin connector routes analog VGA video outward, while a PROFIBUS-DP Master interface links the controller to distributed I/O and drive modules. The electronics draw power from a 24 VDC supply and reach a maximum consumption of 48 W. The aluminum housing has an IP40 rating on its rear surfaces and weighs 11.00 kg, so the installation must provide adequate mechanical support and enclosure cooling.
