The RHO4.1 is a robot controller module manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat to carry out accurate control operations and provide a reliable control interface through a compatible visual display unit. This module contains state-of-the-art Intel Pentium processor technology that is well suited for various applications; it is also characterized by its ability to common industrial faults, including shock, vibration, and power interruption. The housing of the RHO4.1 robot controller is compact and designed to be easy to service and maintain. Unlike conventional modules, this product comes with an integrated uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) and temperature monitoring feature. When there is any risk of error, the controller protects itself and the servo system by initiating a safe operating system shutdown. There are up to three expansion slots present on the housing of this module for expansion PCI and ISA-cards

The RHO4.1 features a hard disk slot that can receive more than 5 gigabytes of hard disk memory, the RAM of this module can be as high as 256 megabytes. The voltage supply required by this module during operation is between 115 to 230 Volts of alternating current; this voltage should be supplied at a frequency of between 50 to 60 hertz. This product's integrated UPS module is supported by an internal rechargeable battery pack. There are about 5 LEDs installed in front of this product and another single LED at the back. The integrated LEDs provide real-time diagnostic information about the module.

The RHO4.1 module operates with a Windows NT4.0 operation system. It weights about 9 kilograms, it is about 448 millimeters long 195 millimeters wide and 98 millimeters thick.
