The VPB40.3D1K-1G0NN-D1D-FN-NN-FW is an industrial PC from Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the VPB IndraControl PC Units series. It is a fanless PC-box controller that links to a remote display over the CDI interface and supplies the computing core for IndraMotion or PLC tasks. The unit hosts HMI, logic, and motion software while connecting to plant networks and field devices. Because the display is connected remotely, the computer can remain inside the cabinet while the operator interface is placed at the machine.
The controller operates from a nominal input of 24 VDC and draws up to 160 W under full load, so the installation must provide adequate 24-volt power capacity and heat dissipation. Two onboard Gigabit ports offer 2 x Ethernet TCP/IP (1 Gbit/s) connectivity for communication with higher-level systems or distributed I/O. Application programs run in 1024 MB of DDR2 memory, which supports motion sequences, visualization, and Windows Embedded services.
