The module is a compact industrial computer that mounts behind a panel display and hosts application software for motion sequencing, axis coordination, and operator visualization. By running real-time control code and handling deterministic field communication to drives, I/O stations, and safety devices, it replaces conventional PLC racks and forms the supervisory layer in packaging lines, machining centers, and assembly cells.

Its computing core is a Celeron M processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, paired with 512 MB of system memory. This combination supports deterministic control cycles while keeping thermal dissipation moderate. An internal backplane offers 3 slots, so motion cards or additional communication modules can be installed without enlarging the enclosure. The aluminum housing stands 130.2 mm tall, which supports shallow cabinet layouts. Under full task load, the unit draws up to 200 W, which should be considered for power supply sizing and enclosure airflow. A single external battery port maintains real-time clock and BIOS parameters when main power is removed, avoiding manual time correction after downtimes.
