The TDM2.1-30-300-W1 is a servo drive module manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the TDM Servo Drive Modules series. It supplies and regulates three-phase current to matched Indramat servo motors, enabling closed-loop speed and torque control required in automated machining centers, material handling systems, and packaging equipment. The unit interfaces with the central supply module of a multi-axis rack and transmits fault and status signals back to the controller, so it functions as the intermediate power stage between low-voltage logic and the electromechanical load.

The drive sustains a continuous output of 30 A, allowing motors to develop rated torque without thermal derating. Its internal bus accepts a stabilized link voltage of 300 V, and from that energy reserve the inverter can deliver up to 9 kW of mechanical power at the shaft. During operation, the electronics dissipate 190 W as heat, and this is removed by the factory-installed blower through forced ventilation. The blower itself needs only 30 VA, so the auxiliary supply can be sized accordingly. These values affect conductor sizing, fuse selection, and allowable continuous or short-term loading.

For installation, the module carries a protection rating of IP10, indicating open slots on the housing that must remain inside a filtered control cabinet. A mass of 10 kg provides a manageable module weight while still providing enough aluminum for heat spreading. The unit can be mounted at elevations up to 1000 m without performance adjustment, and it remains functional in humid production areas that fall under humidity class F. Insulation category C sets the dielectric spacing inside the power stage, while separate measuring taps draw 60 mA from -15 V and 140 mA from +15 V rails so diagnostic cards can sample current without loading the main circuits.
