The TDM2.1-15-300-W0 servo drive module is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the TDM Servo Drive Modules series. It converts the constant-voltage DC bus supplied by Indramat power supplies into the controlled three-phase output required for synchronous and asynchronous motors. By executing current loops in real time, the unit enables precise positioning, speed regulation, and torque limitation in automated machinery. Its electronic circuitry also processes transducer feedback and reports operating status to the master controller, forming a compact axis drive without auxiliary contactors.

At the power stage, the module delivers a continuous motor current of 15 A, which matches its peak rating for short acceleration bursts. That current translates into a sustained mechanical output of 4.5 kW when paired with properly sized motors. The internal DC bus is stabilized at 300 VDC, which helps prevent torque oscillations during dynamic load changes. Heat produced by switching devices is removed by natural convection, so no forced-air accessories are required inside the cabinet. Even with this passive cooling method, total conversion losses are limited to 110 W, helping keep panel temperatures within design limits. Additional control supplies draw 15 mA from the +15 V rail and 60 mA from the -15 V rail, while the interface electronics consume 140 mA on the second positive leg. Insulation category C materials separate these circuits from the chassis.

Full performance is supported up to 55 °C, and above that temperature the output must be derated to protect semiconductor junctions. The housing carries an IP 10 rating, meaning it has finger-safe openings but no liquid ingress protection, so installation must remain inside closed enclosures. Operation is specified for sites at or below 1000 m above sea level to maintain adequate air density for passive cooling. The drive weighs only 9 kg, which helps keep panel handling manageable during installation.
