Its power section is energized from a link circuit held at 300 VDC, and the internal heat sink is cooled by forced ventilation aided by an integral blower that draws 30 VA from the auxiliary supply. Separate logic supplies draw 60 mA at -15 V and 140 mA at +15 V for signal conditioning, and the insulation system is classified as category C to withstand the resulting dielectric stresses. Peak and type currents match the continuous current rating, so short demand spikes remain within the intended operating range. Reliable operation is maintained up to 55 °C ambient when the module is mounted in a closed rack no higher than 1000 m above sea level; above these limits, derating is required. The housing carries an IP 10 protection level, providing basic finger-safe shielding but relying on the control cabinet for further ingress prevention.
