The unit converts the regulated DC link voltage of a shared supply into controlled three-phase output for Indramat asynchronous and brushless servo motors used in positioning, packaging, and material-handling lines. By delivering programmable current and voltage, the module closes the power loop between the machine controller and the motor, enabling repeatable velocity, torque, and acceleration profiles required in industrial automation cells.

The drive supplies a continuous phase current of 45 A, supporting mechanical loads up to a continuous output power of 15 kW. Its internal DC bus is maintained at 300 VDC, and the power section is cooled by forced ventilation from an integral blower that requires AC 115 V. Under rated conditions, the electronics dissipate 250 W of heat, so airflow around the module must remain unobstructed.
