The drive acts as the electrical interface between the motion controller and the mechanical axis, enabling closed-loop positioning without additional power stages.
The drive delivers a continuous output of 8 A, while its rated current capacity reaches 15 A when short-term acceleration is required. Those current ranges correspond to a maximum shaft power of 4.5 kW, provided that the intermediate circuit remains at 300 V DC.
