It converts the fixed DC supply of an industrial cabinet into regulated three-phase output for synchronous and induction motors, providing the current loop and monitoring functions needed in automated machine tools, material-handling axes, and packaging lines. By integrating gate control, temperature sensing, and fault signaling, the unit acts as the interface between a higher-level motion controller and the motor power conductors, ensuring stable torque delivery during continuous or cyclic operation.

The drive supplies a continuous output of 9 kW while drawing energy from a DC bus maintained at 300 VDC.
