The Indramat legacy ANAX series of drive modules introduced factory-tuned drives modules, removing the tedious and delicate function of programming the unit by the end user. This ensured the drives were optimized to handle the various motor types on the industrial floor. Bosch Indramat TDM series of drive modules belong to the ANAX series. TDM drives were built around versatility and ruggedness. Their rugged nature enabled them to provide a consistent performance for many years without servicing. TDM drive modules range from simple and easily available to rare modules that have special functions such as the safety interlock functionality. The Indramat TDM family of drives were designed for low and medium power ranges.
The TDM 3.2-030-300-W1 is a servo drive module from Indramat. Although TDM drive modules are no longer available new, they are still being used on CNC machines, packaging industry, and in the automotive industry due to their ruggedness and versatility. The TDM 3.2-030-300-W1 has a current rating of 30 Amperes and a link circuit voltage of 300 Volts DC. With a built-fan, the drive module is capable of maintaining the required operating temperature inside its casing.
Indramat recommends that the drive module be mounted and operated in an industrial environment that has a surrounding temperature of between 5 degrees Celsius and 45 degrees Celsius. With reduced rated data, the TDM 3.2-030-300-W1 can effectively operate in an environment with an ambient temperature of up to 55 degrees Celsius. To prevent injury to personnel, the TDM 3.2-030-300-W1 is designed to be mounted inside a control cabinet. For optimal performance, the drive module has to be mounted and operated at an altitude not exceeding 1000 meters above sea level with class F humidity levels.
