The TDM 2.1-15-300-W0-220 is a servo drive module produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the TDM Servo Drive Modules series. It converts the fixed DC link from a supply unit into a controlled three-phase output so that synchronous or asynchronous motors can run with programmed torque and speed profiles in automated machinery. This arrangement lets the module serve as the power stage between the DC bus and the motor while supporting regulated motion in production equipment. It is suited for installations where stable motor control is required from a compact cabinet-mounted drive module.

The drive delivers a continuous output of 4.5 kW and draws a continuous phase current of 15 A for sustained operation. Internally, the power stage is energized from a 300 VDC link circuit, so the upstream supply unit must maintain that bus voltage for stable modulation. Control electronics monitor the +15 V rail at 140 mA, while the -15 V rail supplies 60 mA for sensors and interface logic. During dynamic braking or high-frequency PWM switching, the module dissipates 110 W of heat, so cabinet airflow must remove that thermal load. The insulation system is class C, the humidity class is F, and the feedback socket accepts a nine-pole encoder cable for resolver or tacho return.

Installation is permitted up to 1000 m above sea level before cooling corrections are required. Reduced output operation is specified once ambient temperatures reach 55 °C, so thermal conditions in the enclosure must be considered during layout. The open-style housing carries an IP10 protection rating, which means the module must be mounted inside a protected electrical enclosure. Field connections are supported by a 15-pole user I/O strip and the dedicated feedback connector.
