Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the TDM 2.1-030-300-W1-115 servo drive module for the TDM Servo Drive Modules series. The device converts DC link energy into regulated three-phase output for Indramat servo motors, acting as the interface between controller commands and motor torque in automated machine axes. At 10 kg, the unit is light enough for panel mounting yet heavy enough to provide the thermal mass needed for continuous industrial duty, and its built-in fan supports uninterrupted operation on production lines.

The power section is rated for a continuous current of 30 A, which corresponds to a mechanical output of 9 kW when the connected motor is driven from the common DC bus. A DC bus voltage of 300 V DC provides the energy reservoir for the output stage, and the module supports short acceleration bursts without derating. Control electronics are fed by internal ±15 V rails; the +15 V line permits 15 mA of external loading and 140 mA for measurement, while the −15 V channel allows 15 mA of external draw and 60 mA of measuring current. Heat is removed by forced ventilation, and the axial fan operates from 115 V AC with a consumption of 30 VA to keep the semiconductors within a safe operating temperature.

For enclosure planning, the module dissipates 190 W of power loss under rated load, so cabinet airflow must accommodate that heat. Its operating envelope allows continuous use up to 55 °C ambient and at installation heights of up to 1000 m above sea level without performance change. A protection class of IP 10 indicates open-style construction that blocks solid objects larger than 50 mm but does not provide liquid ingress protection. The module is therefore intended for closed electrical cabinets with filtered air, where internal monitoring and fan cooling support stable operation.
