The TDM 2.1-030-300-W1-000 is a servo drive module manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the TDM Servo Drive Modules series. It delivers controlled DC link energy to synchronous or induction servo motors, allowing closed-loop speed and torque regulation in automated presses, gantries, and material-handling stations. Inside a multi-axis cabinet, it serves as a compact power stage that converts bus energy into regulated motor output for coordinated motion. The integrated fan cooling helps the module fit dense drive layouts without requiring separate external ventilation hardware.

The drive is rated for a continuous output of 9 kW while supplying a steady motor current of 30 A. That power is drawn from a DC link maintained at 300 VDC, so the connected supply and braking chopper must tolerate this bus level. Control electronics use two auxiliary supply rails: the negative rail delivers 60 mA at -15 V for sensor reference circuits, while the positive rail provides 140 mA at +15 V for signal conditioning stages. These low-current rails support encoder feedback and fault monitoring without overloading the main converter. Because the auxiliary rails are intended for internal reference and monitoring functions, they are not suited for higher-load external devices.

Thermal management uses forced ventilation. An internally powered fan draws only 30 VA yet maintains airflow across the heat sink, keeping total drive power loss to 190 W during nominal operation. Operation is permitted up to an ambient temperature of 55 °C, and derating is required above that point. The housing has an IP10 rating, so the module must be installed in a clean, enclosed cabinet. Electrical insulation meets category C for coordination with class C cabling and busbars, and the airflow path must remain unobstructed for proper cooling.
