The TDM 2.1-030-300-W0-220/S101 servo drive module is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the TDM Servo Drive Modules series. Installed inside automation cabinets, it converts rectified DC energy into controlled three-phase output so a connected servo motor can accelerate, brake, and hold position under feedback. Acting as the interface between motion commands and motor windings, the module supports accurate axis control in machining centers, printing lines, and conveyor systems.

At nominal operating conditions, the drive delivers a continuous output of 9 kW while maintaining a DC link level of 300 V, a combination suited to medium-power servo axes on drilling or forming equipment. The current regulators can supply a continuous current of 25 A during uninterrupted duty cycles. With natural convection as the cooling method, the housing dissipates conductive and radiant heat without forced airflow, so the electronics remain within limits as long as internal power loss stays near 160 W. Control electronics draw 15 mA from an external +15 V source, consume 140 mA on the internal positive signal rail, and require 60 mA on the -15 V logic path.

Transient overloads are handled with a peak output of 30 A, enabling short bursts of torque when axes accelerate or decelerate sharply. The power section remains functional up to 55 °C ambient, provided that cabinet airflow is unobstructed and installation altitude does not exceed 1000 m above sea level. Protection class IP10 indicates basic finger-safe shielding, so the unit must be installed inside an enclosure that meets higher ingress requirements. The integrated fan terminals accept a 220 V supply for optional auxiliary cooling, and insulation category C permits operation with elevated winding temperatures. The module has a mass of 10 kg, which supports cabinet installation without adding excessive load.
