The TDM 1.3-050-300-W1-000/S105 is a servo drive module manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and supplied within the TDM Servo Drive Modules series. It serves as the power conversion and control interface between a 300 V class DC bus and Indramat servo motors used on production lines, material-handling axes, and general industrial automation equipment. By monitoring feedback and switching its output stages in real time, the device supplies precisely timed current to the motor windings so position, velocity, and torque follow the programmed motion profile. This operating method supports repeatable axis motion and stable response during changing load conditions.

The drive can deliver a continuous phase current of 45 A and withstand short bursts up to 50 A, allowing brief overloads during acceleration without thermal damage. It can support up to 15 kW when the unit is connected to a DC link held near 300 VDC. Internal dissipation is limited to 250 W, and that heat is removed by cabinet airflow across the six final output stages and associated heat sink. Two relay contacts provide fault signaling to the PLC, and the three-phase bridge modulates motor voltage from the analog command input for controlled motor response. This arrangement helps the module regulate motor current while remaining compatible with standard industrial control hardware.

A fault shutdown delay of 300 ms gives the control system time to process alarms before the device opens its power relays. The enclosure has a protection rating of IP10, so the unit is intended for installation in a clean control cabinet at mounting altitudes up to 1000 m. Because of that enclosure level, the surrounding cabinet provides the main barrier against accidental contact and airborne contamination. For interface logic, the acknowledgment contact handles up to 24 VDC at 1 A, while the start-lockout circuit prevents unintended energization during service or emergency stop conditions.
