The TDM 1.3-050-300-W1-000 is an AC servo controller module developed by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the TDM Servo Drive Modules series. Designed as the central drive unit in multi-axis cells, it converts the plant’s three-phase supply into a regulated DC link and distributes low-level logic power to the motion-control electronics. By doing so, it enables precise velocity and position loops for servo motors operating in assembly stations, material-handling systems, and other industrial automation lines.

The internal DC link is stabilized at 300 VDC, giving the connected inverters a fixed reference for pulse-width modulation. During acceleration surges, the module can deliver up to 50 A of armature current, which sets the maximum drive current before protective limits intervene. For signal electronics, it supplies a negative rail of 60 mA at -15 V and a positive rail of 140 mA at +15 V; these currents power tacho feedback, position encoders, and comparator circuits without overloading the logic regulators. Thermal energy generated by these stages is removed by a built-in fan that turns on whenever the unit is active, helping keep component temperatures within permissible limits.

Supplementary auxiliaries are fed from the controller’s 24 V logic bus, which can source up to 350 mA for contactors, relays, or interface LEDs. The mechanical outline supports compact cabinet layouts: the length is 48.0 cm, the height is 40.0 cm, and the width is 11 cm, so multiple axes can be stacked with minimal spacing. Despite the integrated fan and power hardware, overall mass is held to 9.3 kg, which supports standard cabinet mounting without additional external support. The fan supply is generated within the unit, eliminating external auxiliary wiring and keeping the cooling circuit active whenever DC bus power is present.
