Product Description:

The TDM 1.2-050-300-W1-115/S100 designed by Bosch Rexroth has an external control panel that is used in operating the potentiometer for fast setting of the control drive speed point, troubleshooting, and identifying the status of the drive. The servo drive controls the variable speed and the position of the NC loop in machine tools that require high levels of accuracy, such as automation systems, transfer lines, and machines in wood and metalworking. The TDM 1.2-050-300-W1-115/S100 can be modified by other modules like the CZ, TCM, TBM, and additional capacitors to perform specific functions. A MOD programming module found on the drive helps operators adjust and set the control drive efficiently and accurately, hence saving time consumed during calibration procedures.

The servo drive can be installed and operated as a torque-controlled drive. In this case, the TDM 1.2-050-300-W1-115/S100 will determine the speed of other drive modules connected to the main machine by feeding them with the torque set-point via a set-point input. It is, however, useful to note that the motor shafts of the servo drive and the other connected drives are mechanically connected to avoid recoil that may occur during rotation of the motor.  The connection should be as tight as possible to prevent the vibration of the mechanical system.
