The TDM 1.2-050-300-W1-000/S105 manufactured by Rexroth Indramat is used as a speed drive for position control of the NC machine. It is installed and operated in high precision machines like the metal and woodworking machines, automation systems, transfer lines, and automotive production machines. Speed setpoints are directly fed to the TDM 1.2-050-300-W1-000/S105 drive through the NC. The servo drive has the following unique features: Fast short-time acceleration ability, force reduction capability through the I (red) input, which also reduces mechanical system load in certain operations, and the ability to control the torque load in moving parts of the machine.
The TDM 1.2-050-300-W1-000/S105 can be readjusted for special functions by imputing additional modules like the TBM, bleeder capacitors, CZ, or TCM. The drive controls a three-face system that is applied to the MAC servo motor in line with the frequency, phase, and amplitude. This action enables the servo drive to control the position and speed of the MAC motor. The three-phase system consists of different components such as the input (contactor, transformer, power supply, and master switch), the servo motor, the control unit, and the motor cables. A power supply can be used to supply the different modules of the servo drive unit with power if required.
