The TDM 1.2-050-300-W1-000/S100 is a state-of-the-art servo drive module designed by the Indramat to improve productivity in metal machining, woodworking, and transfer lines, automation systems, and other industrial NC controlled machine tools. The servo drive module serves as the control unit in the MAC servo drive system, which contains a servo drive module, a motor cable, mains input components, and a MAC servo motor. The operation of the servo motor depends on the signals the servo motor receives from the NC controller.
The TDM 1.2-050-300-W1-000/S100 servo drive module connects and exchanges digital signals with the motor using the motor power cable and motor feedback cable. The drive has a built-in fan, which helps it to regulate its temperature by forced ventilation. The servo drive can be matched to a specific servo motor through the use of plugged-in programming modules. The TDM 1.2-050-300-W1-000/S100 servo drive controller draws a continuous current of 45Amperes from the mains electricity but can also draw a current as high as 50 Amperes.
