The TDM 1.2-050-300-W0 is a servo drive module manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the TDM Servo Drive Modules series. It is installed between the Indramat DC power supply and a matched motor, supplying regulated three-phase energy so that automated axes follow commanded torque and speed profiles. By coordinating feedback, current sensing, and internal logic, the unit supports repetitive positioning tasks in packaging lines, transfer stations, and similar motion-control applications.

The drive is designed for natural convection cooling, so enclosure airflow alone removes the heat generated by its 50-ampere output stage. That stage draws from a stiff bus set at 300 VDC, and the rated type current of 50 A is the continuous phase current available to the motor windings. Protection is limited to IP10, indicating open slots that require cabinet mounting. Operation is permitted up to 1000 m elevation without derating, and the C insulation category sets clearances relative to the internal bus voltage. External ±15 V rails are provided; each rail can source 15 mA to attached encoder electronics, while the signal ±15 V paths handle 60 mA and 140 mA respectively for internal analog circuits. A maximum 1 mA monitor output (Ma) is present for diagnostic loops.

Ambient performance is maintained to 55 °C; beyond that temperature, the output must be derated to prevent thermal overload. The ready relay contacts are rated at 24 V / 1 A, allowing the controller to indicate drive status to external control logic. Thermal tracking relies on a 20 kΩ temperature-sense resistor that the connected control card reads during operation. Motor feedback conductors may be up to 1 mm², and a separate 1 mm² pair carries the external -15 Vm 15 mA supply. These low-level channels help keep encoder power, reference voltages, and fault reporting stable during continuous duty cycles.
