The TDM 1.2-030-300-W1-220 is a servo drive module manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the TDM Servo Drive Modules series. Positioned between the supply converter and a matched MAC or MDD motor, it modulates current for precise torque control in presses, handling robots, and packaging stations. By regulating the DC link and the motor phases, the unit supports rapid acceleration, stable speed control, and repeatable motion in industrial automation lines. This arrangement lets the drive respond quickly to command changes while keeping motor behavior predictable during repeated indexing and dwell cycles.

Its constant output capability is 30 A, allowing continuous mechanical power of 9 kW from a DC link held at 300 VDC. Internal losses are limited to 190 W, and that heat is removed by a dedicated fan powered from 220 VAC. Protection for that blower is provided by a 0.315 A/250 V cartridge fuse. The cooling system uses forced ventilation, so cabinet layout must keep the heat sink airflow path unobstructed. The drive also monitors trigger current during startup and maintains linear current feedback scaling for interface signals. Because airflow is essential to cooling performance, the surrounding enclosure should avoid blocked intake and discharge areas near the module.
