The TDM 1.2-030-300-W1-115 servo drive module is built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and belongs to the TDM Servo Drive Modules series. The unit converts DC bus energy into controlled three-phase output for synchronous and asynchronous servomotors used in industrial automation. By integrating current regulation, monitoring, and forced-air cooling, it supports stable torque and speed on individual motion axes. It is intended for cabinet-mounted modular drive systems where a separate supply feeds the rack and each module handles motor control for one machine function.

The internal DC bus is held at 300 VDC, and the power stage can deliver a continuous motor current of 30 A. This current level sets the thermal load on the output transistors and the conductor size used on the motor side. At that load, the module supports a continuous mechanical output of 9 kW, which suits mid-range spindle and axis duties. The built-in fan operates from 115 VAC and draws 30 VA, forcing air through the heat sink to keep component temperatures under control. Analog measurement rails consume 60 mA on -15 V and 140 mA on +15 V, while an external ±15 V encoder or sensor circuit may draw up to 15 mA from the auxiliary supply without overloading the logic power domain.

The drive weighs 10 kg, so normal cabinet mounting is usually sufficient without added structural support. It can operate in ambient temperatures up to 55 °C and at altitudes up to 1000 m. Power loss is limited to 190 W, and the forced ventilation path carries that heat away from the power section during operation. The housing has a protection class of IP10, which offers finger-safe openings but no sealing against dust or water, so the module should be installed in an enclosed cabinet. It also uses insulation category C for conductor spacing, and humidity class F allows use where cabinet moisture is kept under reasonable control.
