Product Description

The TDA 1.3-050-3-L00 main spindle controller produced by Bosch Rexroth comes with a transparent protective cover on its front face. This protective cover must be always screwed on when the controller is being operated. The programming module of the product should be tightened using a knurled screw. The feedback signal from either the motor or additional optional spindle is used to close the unit’s internal position control loop. The device is a good choice for deployment in machine tool centers that are controlled numerically. The controller can detect the position of the rotor of the connected motor and control the motor with precision even at low speed.

This product generates position signals that are compatible with incremental encoders via an optional output. The device encompasses an X3 connector for connecting the motor feedback. Its drives should be brought to a standstill mode to avoid voltage on the motor cable when the controller has to be replaced. The unit must be detached from the drive package after loosening the Allen screws above and below its housing. It should also be ensured that the removal takes place only after the link circuit bus rails are removed and all other connections are cut OFF. The storage and transportation of the product must be done between -30°C and 85°C. The controller uses a SERCOS interface for command communication.

The maximum tightening torque of the stud bolts of the device should never be exceeded to avoid shearing off. The unit can be used in workshops located in hot, temperate, cold, and dry climates. The average relative humidity should not increase beyond 70%. The cores of the power cable of the controller should be twisted. The sub-miniature D-type connectors of the product should be screwed securely in position when the controller is under operation.
