The TDA 1.1-100-3-APS is a mains spindle controller in the TDA 1 series from Bosch Rexroth Indramat. It is specifically designed for use with intelligent spindle motors such as the 2AD and 1MB variants. When paired with the appropriate drive, this TDA 1 controller confers the corresponding unit with high stiffness and a broad speed range. This feature ensures that the TDA 1.1-100-3-APS is also suitable for NC machines. It has a current rating of 100 Amperes and a continuous effective current (I_cont) of 70 Amperes.

All the ratings provided for the TDA 1.1-100-3-APS are valid when it is operated within an acceptable temperature range of 5 degrees C to 45 degrees C. At a maximum temperature of 45 degrees C, the given power and torque rating of this unit is limited. As per operating altitude, the maximum allowable height is 1000 meters ASL. At higher heights, the power and torque rating provided for the TDA 1.1-100-3-APS becomes limited. For an optimum and efficient deployment of this equipment, the admissible relative humidity rating of its surrounding air must correspond to Class F. The command value of this mains spindle controller is analog (± 10 Volts), and it comes with additional encoder input for 2^nd motor feedback signal or spindle feedback.
