Product Description:
The SPM 75-TB inverter module is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and belongs to the SPM Inverter Modules series. Designed for drive cabinets, it converts DC link power into controlled three-phase output that drives motors in automated machinery. By delivering regulated voltage and frequency, it permits speed and torque control and interfaces with motion controllers. Its compact housing fits beside rectifier and braking components, forming part of a modular power stack used in assembly lines, packaging equipment, and material-handling stations.
Status information is provided through front-panel light-emitting diodes. The encoder diagnostic lamp labeled MMF (Red) turns on when the feedback channel from the motor fails, prompting checks of the sensor cable or alignment. Three error indicators grouped as FC1-FC3 display coded fault sequences so drive, power, or control faults can be isolated without instruments. A system enable path is supervised by the FG (Green) LED; it lights only when an external release signal is present, confirming that safety interlocks are satisfied. The internal trigger condition is shown by FGI (Green), allowing distinction between user-issued and internal gating commands. Drive logic health is monitored through the LF (Red) diode, which illuminates on microprocessor or communication problems. Overcurrent or thermal loading is announced by I2t (Green); once this indicator activates, the controller has integrated current beyond its preset threshold and may limit output until values return.
Additional feedback is provided by the position light, POS (Green), which flashes in step with the calculated motor position so encoder alignment can be checked during setup. Together with the other indicators, it creates a visual diagnostic layer that helps shorten fault tracing and reduce downtime. These built-in displays eliminate the need for separate test modules for routine status checks. The arrangement also keeps the cabinet layout simpler by placing operating information directly on the drive.
