Product Description

The SM 10/20-TC-DC is a smart digital inverter produced for advanced speed and torque control in servo motors. A three-phase 380 V...415 V and a 20 W power supply is required for the system’s operation. The inverter’s rated current is 10 A and the peak current is 20 A. This inverter is capable of providing the desired torque at any speed. The torque regulation is done by the servo module through generating power semiconductor signals. Besides this, the system also has the feature of rotor position recognition. For enhancing operational safety, a motor block signal is generated if the motor receives the peak current for 2 seconds and remains static. After generating the signal, the supply of current to the motor is reduced by 50%. The SM 10/20-TC-DC can ideally be operated in a 0 ᵒC to 55 ᵒC temperature range. The optimum temperature range for the device is even wider i.e -25 ᵒC to 70 ᵒC.

The SM 10/20-TC-DC’s basic configuration can be extended with a separate diagnostic module. The diagnostic module is equipped with multiple, error and warning LED lights. In addition to tacho fault, motor fault, and commutation fault LEDs, excess heat sink temperature LED is also provided. The inverter can be operated within a 1000 m elevation range. The system has a maximum power loss of 90 W. An axial blower has been provided to assist ventilation and cooling through forced convection. As a whole, the SM 10/20-TC-DC is a top quality AC inverter that is ideal for a variety of servo applications. This product is available from Wake Industrial with a one-year warranty period.
