Product Description:
The SM 35/70-T is a modular servo inverter produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat to carry out the accurate control of the speed, position and torque output of industrial servo motor. This servo inverter features a combination of past experiences and new-generation innovations this unique combination allows it to maintain a high operation efficiency during operation. The housing of this servo inverter provides it with protection according to the IP20 protection class, for optimum protection, the inverter should be installed in an additional control cabinet that meets at least the IP54 protection The inverter operates on a three-phase power supply, the input supply voltage of the inverter is about 520 volts. The inverter features special Light Emitting Diodes which provides information about the operation status of the inverter making troubleshooting and diagnosis operation very easy.
The rated input current required by the servo inverter during operation is 35 amperes, it can also operate with an input current as high as 70 amperes. An air blower is integrated into housing of the inverter, the blower dissipates heat from the control cabinet of inverter via forced ventilation. The servo inverter should be installed in a vertical position to allow for the easy air ventilation in the control cabinet.
The permissible ambient temperature for the operation of the SM 35/70-T inverter falls between 0 to about 50 amperes, during transportation and storage, the inverter can be installed at an ambient temperature as high as 70 degree celsius. The servo module should not be installed at an height that exceeds 1000 meters above sea level. Additional plug-in modules can be installed into the servo inverter to improve its functionality, these modules include the Axis switching module, start-up switching module, and the ramp generator module.
