Product Description:
The SM 35/70 is an advanced servo inverter manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat to ensure the accurate control of the speed, position, and torque output of the industrial servo motor. This servo inverter is intended to be used with the SD Rexroth motor series, together with the motor, it forms a rapid response automatization system that is compatible with a wide range of production and processing industrial applications. The SM 35/70 servo inverter is classified under the IP20 protection class, before it is switched on for operation, it should be installed into an additional control cabinet that falls under the IP 54 protection class. An air blower is integrated into the servo inverter, the blower helps the inverter to eliminate excess heat via natural convection.
The supply input voltage of the servo inverter is about 520 volts. Also, rated input current required by the inverter is 35 amperes. The permissible ambient temperature suited for the operation of this servo inverter is between 0 to about 50 degree celsius, also during transportation and storage, it can be kept at an ambient temperature as high as 70 degree celsius. Special Light Emitting Diodes are integrated into the servo inverter, these diodes allows operators to monitor the operation status of the inverter in real time.
The SM 35/70 servo inverter can be used with several optional modules to extend its operations, example of the optional modules that can be used with the inverter includes the axis switching module for multiple motor operation, start-up switching module to minimize installation time, tacho and stall monitoring module for monitoring and diagnosis, and the ramp generator module to limit the length of acceleration and deceleration ramp of the connected motor.
