The unit converts fixed-frequency mains power into a controlled output for vector-controlled servo or induction motors used in material handling, packaging, and machine-tool axes. By regulating voltage and current, the inverter supports precise speed regulation and torque command loops in automated lines, linking the motion task to the plant’s programmable logic controller.

The drive’s continuous output is 10 A, with a two-second overload ceiling of 20 A to accommodate acceleration surges before returning to nominal load. Analog velocity or torque references enter through a command channel that presents an impedance of 10 kOhm, protecting upstream control cards from loading effects, while the internal reference generator can supply 10 V for differential input scaling. Thermal design limits internal dissipation to 90 W, so cabinet airflow must remove that heat during full-duty operation. Control electronics require only 20 W, allowing small uninterruptible supplies to keep parameters alive during power interruptions. The tacho output delivers 2.7 V per 1000 rpm for external speed loops, and the enable terminal accepts a 24 V DC level to activate the power stage.

Auxiliary circuits use 24 V DC at 100 mA to run the integrated cooling fan. For feedback devices, an encoder link of up to 100 m may be routed without signal boosters, provided the shield and the 2.5 mm² protective earth conductor share a common ground plane. The open-frame build carries an IP00 protection class, so the inverter must be mounted in an enclosed panel. Relay diagnostics are available through a ready contact rated at 24 V, 1 A DC, and field wiring observes the designated PE cross-section to meet fault-loop impedance targets.
