Rexroth Bosch Group manufactures the servo motor, SF-A2.0026.030-14.000. The servo motor is an electronic device that can push and spin machine parts precisely.  It can also be used as an actuator (linear and rotatory). The most important features of SF motors are a smooth, low contamination aluminium frame, pockets that are installed over the entire length of the motors, plug-in connections for output and absolute encoder, protection type IP 67 (except on the output side), and most importantly, cooling by the natural convection method and forced-air cooling is optional.

In this (SF-A2.0026.030-14.000) servo motor, the design suffix is A, the frame size is 2, the locked rotor torque following our technical data is 0026, and the speed suffix is 030 → n_N = 3000 min^-1. The fully digital Servodyn-D inverter technology can be used in conjunction with it. The motor has an inbuilt encoder and operates on a sinusoidal e.m.f.  The SF motor is equipped with both a single-turn encoder system (STG) and a multi-turn absolute value encoder system (MTG) for position and speed control. The SF series consists of synchronous motors that are always excited and have a very compact design.

This motor is optimized to run at a 670 direct current voltage. Due to the high torque transmission demands imposed on the exterior side of the shaft ends, a particular balancing quality category (S) is always needed. Normally, the shaft connections and multiple connections are suitable for a feather key. According to the fail-safe principle, the holding brake works when the feed axis is at a standstill or the system is de-energized.
