It is intended for closed-loop motion axes where accurate velocity regulation and repeatable torque delivery are essential for pick-and-place gantries, tool spindles, or packaging stations. Its synchronous design supports controlled positioning and stable speed regulation when paired with a compatible drive.
In continuous operation, the motor reaches a nominal speed of 6000 rpm, allowing direct coupling to high-speed mechanical stages. At standstill, it can exert 8.2 Nm of torque while drawing 14 A of standstill current, allowing the drive to maintain holding torque without an external brake. The electromagnetic design provides a torque constant of 0.58 Nm/A, meaning each ampere commanded by the drive produces more than half a newton-meter of torque. Copper losses are influenced by a winding resistance of 0.90 Ω, and the 8.7 mH inductance helps shape current rise times.
