The SE-C4.210.030-04.037 is a permanent-magnet synchronous servo motor manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the SE Synchronous Servo Motors series. It converts controlled stator currents into rotational motion that drives feeders, pick-and-place heads, or spindle carriages in automated lines. Integrated analog tachogenerator feedback supplies real-time speed data to the drive controller, enabling tight velocity loops without external encoders. A holding brake is mounted on the shaft so vertical or suspended loads remain secure whenever the control system removes power.
During continuous operation, the motor reaches a nominal shaft speed of 3000 rpm, and its 30 ms ramp-up time lets the drive accelerate from zero to nominal velocity without noticeable delay. At standstill, the winding draws 17.8 A, which produces 19.8 Nm of static torque for tensioning or clamping tasks. The copper resistance of 0.53 Ω limits power losses in the winding. A torque constant of 1.17 Nm/A establishes the linear relationship between phase current and mechanical output.
