Product Description:
The SE-C4.210.030-04.015 is a synchronous servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the SE Synchronous Servo Motors series. As a brushless AC unit, it converts regulated drive current into controlled shaft torque for positioning and velocity loops in automated machinery such as pick-and-place heads, packaging axes, and tool changers. The motor couples directly to a gearbox or load through its output shaft and provides feedback compatible with Rexroth digital drives, enabling precise electromechanical motion without brushes or mechanical commutation.
During continuous operation, the motor runs at a nominal speed of 3000 rpm, providing a consistent relationship between commanded electrical frequency and mechanical output. At standstill, it can develop 21 Nm of static torque, so linear slides or vertical loads can remain in position while the motor is energized. Dynamic events are supported by a peak current ceiling of 158 A, enabling the windings to produce a short-term maximum torque of 57.4 Nm without saturation. Each ampere of phase current produces 0.92 Nm/A of electromagnetic torque, and the back EMF rises at 102 V/1000 rpm. The drive uses these values to regulate current and manage regenerative braking. The coil set has an inductance of 6.2 mH and a resistance of 0.51 Ω, which affect current rise time and copper losses.
The motor has a 142 mm square mounting flange and an overall length of 347 mm without the optional brake, allowing direct attachment to compatible machine frames. Without brake hardware, the housing weighs 22.0 kg, providing enough mass to help damp vibration during operation. When installed, the optional holding brake supplies 18 Nm of torque to prevent axis drift during a power loss. A rotor inertia of 4.98 × 10⁻³ kg·m² supports quick acceleration while maintaining stable velocity regulation. The keyed shaft measures 24 mm in diameter and 50 mm in length, providing positive torque transfer to pulleys, couplings, or planetary gear stages.
