Product Description:
The SE-B5.700.030-10.012 synchronous servo motor is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the SE Synchronous Servo Motors series. It converts controlled electrical input into regulated mechanical rotation. This enables positioning, speed regulation, and cyclic motion in automated stations, pick-and-place gantries, and packaging axes across industrial automation.
It operates at a nominal speed of 3000 rpm, allowing standard drive controllers to synchronize machine cycles without gear changes. During static torque production, the windings can draw up to 70 A of standstill current, which is important when matching power modules and cabling. The mounting interface follows the IM B5 construction type, so the flange carries radial loads while the motor body remains unsupported at the rear. Electrical input is routed through a terminal box power connection, providing screw-clamp terminations and strain relief for factory wiring. Sealing reaches IP65, preventing dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from affecting bearings or windings. For mechanical durability, the housing withstands shocks up to 6 g, making the unit suitable for presses or indexing tables where impact events occur.
Conductors up to a cross-section of 25.0 mm² can be accommodated, so high current transfer is possible without excessive heating. Under load, the acoustic emission does not exceed 58 dB(A), supporting installation near operators without additional sound shielding. Thermal monitoring relies on a thermistor embedded in the stator, giving the drive a direct temperature-dependent resistance signal for overload protection. Rotor speed feedback is produced by an internal brushless tachogenerator, eliminating commutator wear and periodic maintenance. The shaft is supplied without a feather key or keyway, favoring friction-fit couplings or shrink discs. Vibration grade N keeps displacement within standard limits for general-purpose machines.
