The SE-B5.700.030-10.000 servo motor is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the SE Synchronous Servo Motors series. It is a rotary actuator used in industrial automation for closed-loop control of position, velocity, and torque on packaging machines, material-handling axes, and general motion platforms. This model provides flange mounting and integrated tachogenerator feedback for accurate speed regulation without an external encoder.
The motor attaches to machine frames through a 190 mm flange that follows the IM B5 mounting arrangement. The flange and the 180 mm pilot diameter center the housing to minimize radial runout at the coupling. Its output shaft measures 32 × 58 mm and is supplied without a keyway, making it suitable for clamp or shrink-disk couplings that reduce backlash. Continuous operation at the nominal speed of 3000 rpm provides dynamic response while keeping the tachogenerator within its linear range. The motor has a mass of 51 kg, and the enclosure carries an IP65 protection rating that prevents dust entry and resists water jets. A DIN 332-DR M12 centering hole is provided in the shaft face to support alignment and removal with a compatible puller screw. Power conductors with cross-sectional areas up to 25.0 mm² can be routed through the terminal chamber. Because the mating connector is not included, a plug compatible with the selected cable system must be supplied separately. The integrated tachogenerator delivers 2.7 V/1000 rpm, supplying the drive with an analog speed reference that remains stable in areas with electrical noise. During transport and operation, the assembly withstands shocks up to 6 g, helping protect the internal magnets and bearings against impact loads. The terminal chamber keeps the power connections enclosed while allowing the selected conductors to be routed securely into the motor housing.
