Product Description:
The SE-B5.700.020-10.000 is a synchronous servo motor manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the SE Synchronous Servo Motors series. It provides closed-loop rotary actuation for industrial automation axes. These axes demand accurate speed and torque control during positioning and continuous-motion tasks. Its synchronous design allows the connected drive to regulate shaft motion precisely as load conditions change.
The motor attaches to machinery through a 190 mm flange and drives a Ø32 × 58 mm shaft that is supplied without a keyway, allowing couplings or shrink discs to set the interface geometry. Under rated conditions, it reaches a nominal speed of 2000 rpm while drawing 43 A of standstill current. Dynamic events can be supplied by a peak winding current of 261 A. Each ampere produces torque according to a constant of 1.71 Nm/A, which links current command to motor torque output. Electromagnetic energy is stored in the stator coils, whose inductance is 4.2 mH; this shapes current rise time and influences servo bandwidth. The coils exhibit 0.19 Ω of resistance, and together with the 185 V/1000 rpm voltage constant, this sets the back EMF the drive must overcome as speed increases.
The drive end is capable of delivering a maximum torque of 149 Nm for short overload intervals, whereas continuous holding requirements are met by a static torque of 74 Nm. The rotor’s mass moment of inertia is 28.8 × 10−3 kg·m², balancing quick speed changes with mechanical stability. The housing is sealed to IP65, which keeps dust and low-pressure water jets away from internal components. Heat soak is gradual because the assembly weighs 51 kg and has a thermal time constant of 61 min, permitting extended duty cycles before steady-state temperature is reached. This thermal behavior helps the motor absorb short load changes before the winding temperature stabilizes.
