The SE-B5.570.020-04.000 synchronous servo motor is supplied by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the SE Synchronous Servo Motors series. This three-phase unit converts electrical energy into controlled mechanical rotation for indexing stations, gantry drives, and continuous-process equipment. An integrated spring-applied holding brake keeps vertical or suspended loads stationary whenever the drive is de-energized. That feature makes the motor suitable for axes that must remain in position during stops or power loss in packaging lines and material-handling systems. In closed-loop motion systems, it supports accurate speed and position control during repeated starts, stops, and holding periods.

The motor has a nominal speed of 2000 rpm, and its standstill current is 40 A for static load holding. With the brake installed, the assembly weighs 51 kg. Mounting uses a 190 mm flange that seats against a matching machine surface, while axial alignment is maintained by a 180 mm pilot diameter and a centering hole drilled to DIN 332-DR M12. Torque is transferred through a DIN 6885 feather key fitted to a 32 mm shaft, and the 58 mm shaft length provides usable engagement for couplings or transmission components. The brake coil operates on 24 V DC, and a tacho generator supplies 2.7 V per 1000 rpm for analog speed feedback to the drive.

The motor has an IP65 enclosure rating, which helps resist dust and moisture in production areas. After brake release, motion can resume in less than 70 ms, and braking is re-established within 55 ms when the brake is applied. The electromechanical assembly tolerates shocks up to 6 g, which helps it withstand machine impacts and transport vibration during installation. With the brake fitted, the overall motor length is 487 mm, so surrounding machine space must allow for the full housing depth.
